Now Showing: LED Headlamps

So it was true. The light-emitting diode (LED) is man's greatest invention after the light bulb. Energy-efficient and relatively cheap, the LED is set out to conquer the lighting industry by storm in the coming decades.

The signs are all over the place. I will bet that at least one of the electronic items you use at home has a LED in it. I'm pretty sure your computer has one. And now, in cars, LED automotive headlamps are steadily going LED. What's next?

Windshields for the Elder Drivers

When you age, a lot of things that you used to enjoy can't be enjoyed anymore. Physical features will deteriorate, and this includes eye vision. Clearly, poor eye vision may result to fatal accidents like car crashes. Due to some people's recklessness, partnered with our elders' poor vision, crashing into each other is not unexpected.

This does not mean, however, that we should not do anything about it. If we cannot improve vision, then improve the car! Fortunately, futuristic car gadgets are in the works. like this windshield.
