Japanese automaker Mazda, promised to create a gasoline-electric hybrid in the next decade after denying in the past that it was interested in creating such a vehicle.
The automaker has once said that the hybrid models are not in line with its "zoom-zoom" mantra, but it finally gave in probably due to the strengthened emission standards in the North America and in Europe.
