Beware of Car Cloning

Probably one of the worst feelings you will ever get when you own your car happens when you find out that your machine is stolen--and yet, you are still on the hook for that car loan.

How are thieves able to get away with this? Through car cloning--or the practice of making stolen cars look like genuine ones by taking license plates, vehicle identification numbers, and other tags and stickers from a legally owned car and putting them on to the stolen car with the same model.

Wrapping A NASCAR Car

back then, shops used paint to decorate the fanciest of all racing cars. But as designs go complexer and more complicated, it might be more difficult and costly to continue with paint jobs.

Instead, some of the shops chose to go wrapping the entire cars. Some may find this insulting, especially since it's NASCAR cars we're talking about, but at least it serves its purpose.

Hybrid sports car to be unveiled in Denver

There is another hybrid sports car to watch out for, and this time it will be shown at the Denver Auto Show, which will run from April 1 to 5.

Toyota Prius is Consumer Reports' Best Car for Value

In a time where we need to be conservative abotu our spending, buying a new car is sometimes not an option. However, there are instances when we really have to purchase one, so the best that we can do is to make sure that what we buy is worth our money.

Consumer Reports released an issue jusging the best car for overall value in 2009. What is the winner? The Toyota Prius.

Japanese car sales down

Even Japanese cars which used to have great gains in the car market due to their efficiency are now experiencing sharp falls in sales due to customers shunning expensive items in favor of necessities.

All of the major cars were affected, led by Toyota, which dropped its sales by 32 percent. Honda followed with a 21 percent reduction in sales.

Quite unsurprisingly, demand for new cars softened as customers became unwilling to spend money on them.

In a buyers' market like what the automobile industry has today, buyers are in control of what the producers have to offer.
