Ferrari President Luca Cordero di Montezemolo announced to the public that they are currently exploring the production of a hybrid version of 599 GTB Fiorano, in the last Geneva Motor Show.
Recent reports believe that the Italian automaker plans to showcase the hybrid version in the next Geneva Motor Show and the hybrids will roll in 4 to 5 years time.
The 599 hybrid will use a systems derived from Ferrari's F1 racing vehicle called the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) that would give it 30% more in fuel economy.
