I just need to get this off my chest. I went to the gas station the other day and guess how much money it took to fill up my Cavalier? $22.72 was the price I paid and you bet I was thrilled. You know what this means though? This could be the sole factor for many people on what they do this Holiday season.
You want to drive to the grandparents' house for Thanksgiving, but their house is 3 hours away? Well, with the gas prices dipping below two dollars, that trip seems all the more reasonable.
Many people speculated that the price of gas was only going down because of the election. But those people also thought it would sky rocket back up after the whole ordeal. Never could anyone have seen that gas is below $2 right now.
