new cars New Cars Australia Interview
Name of your website?

New Cars Australia

Your name?

Steve

Your Location (city, etc)

Liverpool

Please give us a short summary of your website?

New Cars Australia is one of Australias leading car broker sites. How we operate is that we buy cars in fleets and then offsell them to consumers, passing the savings onto them.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To reap the extra business that is avaiable on the web.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Last year, New Cars Australia.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It was my business' name.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We offer our service free of charge whereas other websites don't.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep it to generate leads.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Very well.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would make it so that users can post ads on the website and so that it is more database driven.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Search engine optimisation.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Search engine optimisation.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Search engine optimisation.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It requires alot of understanding about the internet.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

As long as the business exists.

In your experience how does the internet perform as a marketing media as compared to other marketing medias.

The internet is a very useful marketing media as compared to print ads and radio/tv I have found. This is because you're targeting a wider audience and the people that visit your site are usually there by choice!

What is your website address?

New Cars Australia
