Later this year, I'm going to be taking my car down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from Cincinnati, Ohio. I know my car can do the trip, but I was worried about the higher mileage it has on it. The mileage is around 140,000 miles, but that shouldn't be that big of a deal... or could it be? Plus with the price of gas rising like crazy, I may just end up hitch-hiking anyway. Should I try to book a flight instead? I know the drive is long, but I sort of like the feeling of being on the open road.
All I'm asking is if anyone has any suggestions on what to do with a higher mileage car on a trip like that.
