Kristine Owram of The Canadian Press, on her article on CB online, said that the auto industry of North America (Detroit Three) show a faint pulse but still needs a very long time to recover.
Owram adds that the year 2009 was the most dramatic year that the North American auto industry has ever struggled through. And it was already in trouble when the recession hit in late 2008 cause by years of weak product mix and competition from overseas automakers like Honda and Toyota.
